I'm creating a long document and have tried to set up a
TOC at the beginning. In terms of the
sections/titles/pages numbers, all is exactly right.
However, I cannot seem to find the right option to make
these items a jump to the page, within the document.

Can anyone tell me how this is done?

In Word 97 and earlier, the pages numbers in a TOC are automatically
hyperlinked to the pages; just click on them. In Word 2000 and later, each
entire TOC entry is hyperlinked, but in Word 2002, unless you have changed
the option on the Edit tab of Tools | Options, you have to Ctrl+click to
follow links.

Thanks for the help. One other item I forgot to mention,
sorry, is that file I'm working with was originally a .pdf
which I changed to a Word Doc. I am using Word 2000 and I
thought that the TOC was hyperlinked, thanks for the
confirmation. Is there anything special I have to do when
converting this .pdf or changes I need to make post
conversion that will fix this problem?

Agian, thanks for the help.

Is the TOC actually a TOC field in the Word doc? That is, if you press
Alt+F9, do you see { TOC ... }?
