Table of Contents

In the table of contents in Word 2000 I only had to double
click on the page number for the link to operate.
Since upgrading to word 2003 I have to control+click to
get the same link. can I set word up so that it woks on a
double click again??

Hi Frank

In Tools > Options > Edit, uncheck the box for "Use CTRL + Click to
follow hyperlink". That will change the TOC and all other hyperlinks
so you need only a (single) click.

If that causes you trouble when you try to edit the TOC, you can
temporarily check the option again (that's why the change of behavior
was made).
