Table of Contents

I’m working in Word2003 and have a question about creating my Table of
Contents. When I go into ‘Index and tables’ and setup the Table of Contents
and create it, under my Attachments I would like the actual page of the
attachment to appear. Below is an example of what I have. On page 13 of my
document I have the following:

4.0 ATTACHMENTS
4.1 Test 1
4.2 Test 2
4.2 Test 3

So in my Table of Contents show attachments 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 on page 13. I
would like it to show the page that the attachment starts on. So I would like
it to look like this:

4.0 ATTACHMENTS 13
4.1 Test 1 14
4.2 Test 2 18
4.3 Test 3 23

Is there a way to do this?

Are you generating headings based on styles? Then you should just be
able to add the attachment style(s) to the TOC.

If you are about to create a new TOC, use the Options dialog box (click
the Options button in the Index and Tables dialog box), and specify the
desired level. If you are trying to modify an existing TOC, display the
field codes and add the \t switch: \t "stylename, level".

To show/hide field codes, press Alt+F9. To update the TOC field, you can
press F9. Make sure you choose to update the whole table (if prompted).
