Table of Figure

Hello
I am using of Table of Figure , I put Fig1.(explain)
under a figure and when I put it's cross reference in the text.
Word puts Fig1.(explain), but I don't want it past explain in my
text.So I have to write the explain in the next line,is there an other
way to fix this problem?

Your question is a little hard to understand.

I'm assuming that you used Insert | Caption to create and number the
"Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3", etc. I'm assuming that you create a
cross-reference to "Fig. 1: [caption explaining figure]" but what you
want to see is just "Fig. 1", with no explanation.

If that is the case, when you insert the cross-reference, in the dialog
make sure that you set Reference Type to "figure" and that you set
Insert Reference To: to "only label and number", not "entire caption".

If that doesn't do it, to get help, you need to say what version of Word
you are using, and what you mean by "I don't want it past explain in my
text." I'm also not sure where Table of Figures comes into the problem.

Tell us exactly what you did, what happened, and what you wanted to
happen instead. Give specific examples to show us what you mean.
