Table Properties suddendly not accessible

Previously, when I call Table Properties from the menu or
right click, I would get the usual menu. Now when I do it,
it seems to be automatically applying the previous
settings and I can't get to the Table Properties
Palette/dialog box.

Anyone seen this? Very annoying and would appreciate some
help.

I'm not recognizing what you're talking about, it doesn't
sound "Wordy". You are in Microsoft WORD? Which version? And
what is the exact menu command you've used to get to the
dialog box in question?

Cindy:

Thanks for responding. Yes, it's quite Wordy:MS Word 2000
(9.0.4402 SR-1).

Menus: Table/Table Properties (With Cursor in the table)

OR

Right click/Table Properties (with cursor in a table, of
course.)

What it appears to be doing is automacially applying
previous settings rather than letting me revise the table
properties.

What kinds of properties? Is this happening in just a
particular document, or in all documents? I have to admit,
I've never seen or heard of anything like this, before. My
gut feeling is a macro named TableProperties...
