Table Row Limit?

Is there a text limit for table rows in Word? I have a file that someone
sent me with a table that is in a landscape page. The rows are set to allow
to break across pages, but when I add my content to one row it does not
break. I can see my text but it is cut off at the bottom and now view and
does not cross over to the next page.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

On the Table tab of Table Properties, make sure that the text wrapping is
set to None.

I selected the table and have unchecked the Text Wrapping Option, however, I
am still not able to see all the text in the cell.

Check the row height settings. Right-click in the problem row (or select the
whole table if it's all a problem) and choose Table Properties. In the Row
tab, make sure that Specify height is unchecked. Does that fix it? (You
might also need to check the Paragraph formatting for the affected cells and
make sure that Line spacing is not set to Exactly.

I had previously checked the row height to be sure that was not set and have
also checked the paragraph formatting and the spacing is set to single.

Try turning on your non-printing characters. No clue if that will show you
anything but sometimes it helps to see what's going on.

I'm wondering if you have changed the correct setting. There is no check box
for "Text wrapping" but rather two preset pictures for None and Around. You
need to click the one for None. There is a check box for "Wrap text" in the
Cell Options, however, and this you do want checked.

I am experiencing the same problem. Does anyone have a solution other than
creating a new row and manually breaking the text?

With the cursor in the table, go to Table > Table Properties, click on the
"None" button under Text Wrapping, and click OK.

It's fairly easy to grab the table handle (the little box off the upper left
corner) and accidentally drag it far enough to make the table a floating
object. When that happens, you may have trouble getting the table to break
across pages. The "None" button forces the table back into the text layer.
