Table shows other tables

I just inherited an application built by somebody else and I noticed that
when you open the tables in the application, there is a + sign on the first
column of each table record (the column has no name). When you click on the +
sign, another table opens up.

I checked Tool > Relationships and most of the tables in the application
were joined.

Is this why each table is showing the + sign at the beginning of each record
i.e. the relationships already established is being used to display more
tables when you click on the + sign displayed.

These are subdatasheets. Most experienced/seasoned Access turn this
"feature" off by setting all subdatasheet properties to [None].

selected properties, but I didn't see property called subdatasheet.

Try view the table properties while in design view of the table.
