Table Usage

I created a table with information in the left column that I would like to
copy again below it. For example, I have Mondays information, then date,
then time in a column (see info below). I would now like to copy those three
cells and continue the one table below it by pasting Monday Date & Time, then
changing the word Monday to Tuesday, so that I do not have to retype
everything over again.

However, when I copy the information it all goes into one cell, like a
nested table within a cell, instead of inserting three new rows as part of
the same table with the data from above. Does anyone know how to accomplish
what should be a simple task?

PS I love OneNote, I have never loved any software the way that I love this
thing (table issues notwithstanding).

Interesting. I just tried it and when I paste, I get the data in a table
row - no matter where my cursor is. (It even works right for me here when I
have text only set as the default paste type.)

AHA- Got it! Make sure your cursor is in the last cell of the row. If it is
in any other cell, you get the nested table. If you are at the end of the
row, you get the new row.

One more update: A further test shows that being at the very end of the last
cell in the row or the very beginning of the first cell in the row works.
Anywhere else gives the table in a table result.

I cannot make this work. It doesn't seem to matter what cell I have the
cursor in, I always get a nested table. I love OneNote, but this makes me
crazy!
