Hi,
In my firm's database, I've constructed it so that
whenever a staff member wants to get into it, they must
issue a valid password in a form that 'pops up'. Once
entered the intials of that staff member are automatically
entered into a table (ie a log book). So, over time we
have a long narrow table with staff member initials, time
and date.
Now...twice in the last six months or so...for some
reason, the table refused to accept further records (ie
staff member initials, time and date). Even when I try to
add a new record manually in the table, it refuses to
accept a new record.
To solve it, I copied the table and used the copy as the
log book. This got it going again and works okay...but it
is troubling me as to why the original table stopped
functioning properly suddenly... :-(
Any ideas?
Thanks
Adam
