Tables (and Newsgroups Search)

Using WinXPprof and Word 2002-sp1. How do I merge data
into a Word table. I tried using Directory format and
inserting the merge fields into the first row of the
table. That didn't work.

Also, this topic may have been already covered but for
some reason everytime I try and do a search within this
newsgroup it times out after 5 minutes.

I figured it out just as you posted your reply! All I had
to do was insert a Table of x columns and just one row.
For the last two days everytime I do a search within the
Newsgroups it times outafter five minutes. This is the
same if I use CompuServe (AOL) as my browser or IE. I
didn't go to Google as I was trying to limit my search to
the Word/MailMerge group.
