Tables extracted from external application truncated at the end of a page

Hi, as stated in the subject header, I am using an
external application in our company which will
automatically extract data containing tables to MS word.
The problem is the tables extracted will be truncated at
the end of the page with only the first few lines of the
tables able to be seen. The rest of the data would be
hidden in the "White Space" area. This only happens in
Word 2002 but for word 97 it can be done properly. I have
not tried it on word 2000. To view the data in the tables
properly, I have to either click on "show white space" in
between the page border or I have to convert the tables
in the entire document to text. However I would want the
all the data and tables to be spanned properly across the
entire document hence are there any settings that can be
done in Word 2002 to solve this problem? Would really
appreciate some advice. Thanks

Right-click in the table and select Table Properties. On the Table tab, make
sure that "Text wrapping" is set to "None."

Hi Suzanne,

thanks for your reply, sorry I forgot to mention that I
have already tried that but it doesn't help. The table
view is still truncated at the end of the page. Please
advise further. Thanks

Unless a table is wrapped or is in a text box or frame, it cannot extend
below the bottom margin.

Did you try going into the table properties and making sure the "allo
row to break across pages" is checked
