Tables linked to excel

Is there a way to view what a table is linked to without
seeing the entire form code? In reading this message
board I see that you can choose to view the field codes.
These are quite cumbersome. All I am really interested
in is viewing the "Item", which in my case would be the
worksheet and range.

Thanks a bunch!

Sandra, double-click the Excel worksheet. If it really is a linked embedded
object, double-clicking it will open Excel and load the workbook file. If it
isn't a linked object (if it was inserted from the Insert Microsoft Excel
Worksheet button on the Standard tollbar) no Excel workbook will open;
instead, a little worksheet window will open within Word.
