I need to convert 5 word documents to pdf and them combine them togather.
When I convert the document to pdf, the tables are somehow lost and do not
appear giving a very untidy look to the pdf document. Please help. Thanks.

I have microsoft office 2007 and Acrobat Adobe creator.

How are the tables lost? Are the tables in the Word document actual tables
with text and borders or are they images of tables (ie extracts from Excel)?
In the PDF do see the text but not the borders or nothing at all, only space?
Are you using the built in PDF function in 2007 or the Adobe Acrobat
software package? Do you create from within Word or open Acrobat and create
file from?
More details may help.
On the creating side from within Adobe, Acrobat is able to create and
combine several documents at the same time. Open Adobe Acrobat, File, Create
PDF, From Multiple Files
More details may help.
Thanks

Hi Anisa,
In this case maybe you can try some other ways to convert Word to PDF:
1. you can use a office add-on SaveAsPDF to save word as pdf format:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...3c-6d89-4f15-991b-63b07ba5f2e5&displaylang=en
2. Or you can find more free and easy ways to convert Word to PDF in
the tip below:

Hope that helps, good luck~

I mean to say that the tables do not appear at all. Spaces in between and
looks untidy.
I have the Adobe Acrobat Pdf maker installed on my computer. It works great
with other documents. This document is a master document manual.

Do the tables print if you print from a printer? Do they appear in Print
Preview? If the answer to both is no, then perhaps they are in text boxes,
which are in the drawing layer, and you don't have "Drawing objects" checked
on the Print tab of Tools | Options.
