Tables lost on startup of Database.

P

Paul

When starting up the database, it automaiclly starts up a
form and does not give me the option to view my tables.

Also certain dropdown menus have disapeared from my
toolbar.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Paul

In the startup settings for the database (Tools>Startup) you have options to
specify a form to be opened on startup, and also to hide the database window
(where you "view my tables") and to show only restricted menus.

If you have Tools>Startup on your menu then you will be able to change these
settings. If not, try opening the database while holding down the shift
key.

If this doesn't work then the "bypass key" has also been disabled. Post
back here again and I'll give you some code to re-enable it (which must be
run from another database).
