Tables now would be good, not next version

I bought onenote, and so far love it. Only two things are GLARINGLY missing.
The most painful of these is the ability to make tables. I've read
microsoft is thinking about it for the next version. What the @$#%#@ am I
going to do till then, and do I really have to drop another $80 some odd
bucks to get to use tables? Can't you just make a patch or something?

No, the last SP was a rare instance of adding features in a service pack.
There will be another service pack but there won't be any new features in
it. Tables is a very popular feature request and it's a substantial
addition. Hopefully tables will make it into the next version.
