Tables: tables contents of a cell

I want to set up a table with a column that only allows a
Yes or No entry. I know this can be done in EXCEL. Can
it be done in WORD?

Thanks Greg - but when I protect the form, I can't access
any other part of the document. Any suggestions?

That's the beauty of locked forms they allow such fields - but they do limit
what you can do in the rest of the document. Another possibility is to
create a userform that gives the choice and put a macrobutton field in each
of the relevant table cells that pops up the user form and fills the cell
with the data according to choice.
See

and

It won't prevent a user from entering something different in the cell, but
by being there it should concentrate the mind.
