Tables

I am downloading a table from an FTP site. People are
registering for a conference daily on our webpage.

When I download the table and then build a report and/or
query from it, the report and query disappear the next
time I download the updated table. How can I avoid this?

Note that a Form or a Report or a Query are *just tools* - they do not
contain any data. Your data exists in the stored Table, and ONLY IN
THAT TABLE. If you overwrite the data in your table when you download,
the old data is destroyed.

Instead, *append* the downloaded data to a larger table with all the
historical records as well as current ones; base your report on a
query which selects only the newly-added records.
