Tablet PC Functionality

For a not taking application to resemble pen and paper one note really leaves
a lot to be desired for tablet users.

So here is a suggestion for a feature in future versions. place in the
alternate click menu the ability to place flags on notes and have outlook or
other office applications display the hand writen notes. also allow for the
pen users to use the calculator feature by converting the text then right
clicking using the pen and selecting calculate.

Aloha Fistan,

O.K., can you explain why? I'm a tablet user and don't have a problem with
the pen/paper metaphor.
So here is a suggestion for a feature in future versions. place in
the alternate click menu the ability to place flags on notes and have
outlook or other office applications display the hand writen notes.

Display them how?
also allow for the pen users to use the calculator feature by
converting the text then right clicking using the pen and selecting
calculate.

Have you seen OneNote 2007 yet?

I think the ON 07 beta really rocks for a tablet PC and is a major
improvement. In fact I had uninstalled ON '03 from my tablet and just gone
back to journal. Not only is the overall feel and functionallity better but
the integration with Outlook is very, very sweet. And FINALLY there is
native "print to onenote" capability. What in the world was MS thinking when
they left that out of the first version?
Those of you who, like me, use a pure slate tablet will be very impressed
with the new tablet friendly Onenote.
