tabs changing size

I have set the tabs to 0.5" but it keeps changing, every time I hit
tab, to 0.75". Then when I reset it, it will only do the .5 once
before I have to reset it again. I go into format, then to paragraph
then to tab.

Select All before you go to set the tabs.

What version are you using? this is a MacWord group, and Tabs are just
Format | Tabs, no Paragraph involved. Either you aren't setting the tabs
correctly or you aren't on MacWord.
