tabular mode in data access page

Hi,

I would like to display the records in a tabular form,
within a data access page. In forms, we have a tabular
mode selection, while creating using wizard.

I tried to design the data access page, with fields side
to side. Also set the data page size property to 'ALL'.
But the title of fields is also repeated.

Found pivot table could be one way, but read that users
can change the layout, which I don't prefer. Also I am
not able to adjust the title of the fields in pivot table.

Is there any other way to display records in tabular form
in data access page? I should also able to select a
record from that table to pop-up other details of that
record.
