Tabulating scores based on interactive input

M

Melissa

I'm creating an eLearning courseware using Powerpoint and would like to
incude an assessment at the end of the course. Will be flashing each
question one by one with multiple-choices for the user to select (via radio
buttons). At the end of the 10 questions, I want to show how many questions
the user got correct.

How can I tabulate the scores? VB? Adding in some Excel functions?

Any help/ hint/ references much appreciated!

I have a FAQ on code to keep score unsing PowerPoint at:

http://www.pttinc.com/ppt_faq1.html

I also have a sample download of a CBT using PowerPoint and VBA at:

http://www.pttinc.com/cbt_development.html

This page also includes a download that has access to the code on a Review
Question sample file that you can see how this one was done (doesn't keep
score but does provide some interactivity.

Another great resource for VBA in PowerPoint is fellow MVP, David
marcovitz's book. A link to his site and others is at:

That is probably because your macro security is set to HIGH. Open
PowerPoint, click "Tools", "Macro", "Security", and set it to MEDIUM.
Re-open the presentation and click "Enable macros" when asked and it will
work fine.

Thanks for the heads up because I need to update the web page with this
info!
