Tagging messages in Outlook

How can I apply tags to my Outlook messages, for future retrieval? (I know
how this feature works in gMail, but not in Outlook). Thanks.

Version of Outlook? Outlook doesn't use tags, it uses categories. You can
right click on the message in the message list and select categories or use
the toolbar.

Outlook 2007.
Thanks for clarifying that Outlook does not have this important (for me)
feature. Unfortunately, color coding (=categorizing) is not a good substitute
for tagging.
