Takes a long time.

Hi I've got windows XP Pro,Office XP outlook 2002 sp-
2,Xeon cpu 2.40ghz, with 512MB DDR memory. My problem is
I get some logs that are 1-3mb in size when I try to open
one of this logs it will take about 3 minutes to load.
Any ideas?
