Taking MPPs from local environment to Project Server

Can anyone tell me the level of difficulty to transfer project plans
from a desktop to project server. We have about 30 smaller project
plans presently screated and want to centralize them utilizing Project
Server. Any advice?

The correct method to bring nonenterprise projects into Project Server is to
import them using the Import Project wizard (Tools - Enterprise Options -
Import Project to Enterprise). Prior to importing each project, you must
make certain that custom fields and outline codes in the project can be
mapped to enterprise custom fields and outline codes in the Enterprise
Global file. You must also confirm that each resource in the project has a
corresponding enterprise resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool. You
should also confirm that calendars in the project have a corresponding
enterprise calendar in the Enterprise Global file. If you prepare each
project properly, the import process should go smoothly. Hope this helps.
