task assignment/status via email to Outlook

Hello all,
I using the trial version of Project 2007 Standard, would like to
broadcast tasks to our resources who are using Outlook 2003. Ideally, I
would like to receive task feedback from them, but that is a secondary goal.
I have seen references to a 'Workgroup Message Handler' for Project 2003, but
not for 2007.

Hello Jim,

Sorry, there is no direct way to request and receive feedback in
Project 2007 using Outlook 2003. Project 2007 does have a reminder
feature (button on the Tracking toolbar) which sends items to
Outlook 2007. I do not believe it works for Outlook 2003 . The
Workgroup Message Handler was for releases previous to 2003 and was
an unsupported download for 2003.

You may find there is a third party add-in which suits your purpose.
