Task Bar

I am new to this so please excuse the incorrect terminology... the task bar
at the bottom of the screen. Is it possible to rearrange the tasks that
reside there? For example the programs that are open show up there (Excel,
Outlook etc.) The more programs open the more task are shown at the bottom
of the screen. They are placed based on order which they where open...the
earliest opened the further to the left they reside. If they are closed and
reopened then they will be brought back but on the right. I prefer to have
Outlook on the far left and then the more active programs on the right. Is
there any way to rearrange them in such a manner.

Thank you.

p.s. I am working with Office 2000 professional.

This is a Windows issue rather than an Office issue, but I can tell you
that there is no way to do what you describe with standard Windows
components. There may be third-party programs that can do it. If you
post your question in a group devoted to your Windows version, someone
there will probably have an answer.
