I am using MS-Office 2000 and my task bars in Word disappeared altogether. I
am using ALT- commands to manouvre around. I tried a couple of suggestions
I found at the MS support site, but none succeeded. Re-installing Word did
not help. Help Please! Thanks a bundle.

Hi,

Normally you can right click on any task bar or the Word menu to
display the task bar menu - from which you just select the task bars
you want. However it sounds like all of yours have gone.

You could try Alt V followed by alt T.

If that fails, try reading this,

Cheers,

Mike

Assuming I'm understanding you correctly, R click somewhere in the grey area
at the top. You should then have a dropdown menu with a list of the
different toolbars that you can have open. Click the ones you want -
probably the top two.
