Task Calendar Monthly View--Start & End Dates

I am viewing my tasks in the calendar monthly view and, currently in the
define views-->modify-->fields, I have set the calendar to display the start
date as the end date so that ALL my tasks appear. Ideally, I want to display
the start date as the start date so that I get the nice bar connecting the
start date to the end date. However, when I do this, all the tasks that do
not have a start date are left off the calendar, is there anyway to prevent
this?
