Task Check boxes stopped working

Would anyone have an idea why the Completed check boxes in my Task folder
would suddenly stop working? Clicking them does nothing, so I have to
right-click to mark them as complete.

I've tried removing and re-adding that column with the Field Chooser, plus
running Detect & Repair to no avail. Thanks for any suggestions you can give
me!

Turn in line editing back on.

Right click the top of the TaskPad | Customise Current View | Other
settings.

Thanks, Judy. I had turned that feature off recently due to a problem
creating and saving new tasks. Unchecking it allowed me to run the Save Task
Order command, which fixed that problem. I forgot to re-check it afterwards.
