Task Completed status indicator (checkmark icon) on My Tasks

In PWA 2003 when a task reached 100% complete (or the criteria for
completion) a blue checkmark appeared in the task status cell in the
row for the task on the my tasks display. In 2007 the blue checkmark
is not displayed for tasks that are 100% complete. Has this changed in
2007?

After taking a look a that listed icons and noting the description/definition
of the assignment changed icon is "The assignment was changed since you last
saved its status. Any changes you made were overwritten with those made by
the project manager. Review the changes to the assignment, and consult with
the project manager as needed."

So i updated my task and submitted it, the PM processed the update and the
icon still displays. When does it go away?
