Task completion does not follow up to the originator of the task.

User no. 1 will create a task and assign it to user no. 2. User no. 2 opens
up the email, accepts the task and then will reassign it to the next user no.
3. User no. 3 will complete the task and mark it as complete. User no. 2's
task will be updated and marked as "complete", but user no. 1 will not get
the notice of completion.

How can I resolve this.

Please, does anyone know if this is a known bug, or does someone have a
solution?
