There are many attributes associated with a custom field (e.g. name,
value, etc.). What exactly is it you are trying to retrieve? A little

oo i want to use this for reporting stuff..so i guess i need a direction to
access it via Table in SQL Server

Sorry, I don't do Project Server or SQL so I can't help you with the
details but I can direct you to information on Project's database.
Depending on which version of Project you have, search your hard drive
for a file called prdb.htm.

You might also want to check out fellow MVP, Rod Gill's book on Project
VBA. He has several modules devoted to working with Project's database.
