Task Duration - to 2 decimal places

Brett

I have entered a task durations in whole numbers, 120
days, 100 days, etc., however the total duration comes up
with 220.38 days. How can I stop this. I have retyped all
the durations. I have installed all the updates and
patches. It does not do it for every task either.

You cannot turn off this feature in Microsoft Project, as the software
calculates Duration to two decimal points of precision. The Duration of
220.38 days is calculated from the Start date of your earliest task to the
Finish date of the latest task. The software is telling you that the
project will finish on the 221st working day of the project, at
approximately 11:00 AM. Hope this helps.
