Task Error in OneNote 2007

I have been using OneNote 2007 for about two weeks and really like it. It's
a tool that I've been looking for and works exactly the way I think. I've
run into a problem over the last week, though. I flag most of my work by
adding tasks with due dates. All was fine until a few days ago. Now, the
Task pulldown and all of the existing Task flags are greyed out. When I
hover over an existing task, I see "Task Not Yet Found in Outlook. You
cannot edit tasks deleted from Outlook or created by other users". I've
searched for this and only see references to shared notebooks.
I'm running Windows XP Pro v2002 SP2 Office 2007, Outlook 2007 backend
Exchange server 2003, on an Intel Core 2 2.66GHz and 3G RAM.

Thanks

Alan

It actually appears that it's not talking to Outlook at all. I can't create
appointments or contacts from OneNote. Help!
