task font color question

Hi All... MSPS 2007 Infrastructure Update, October updates, SP1

I must be missing something here. I update the task font colors and then
save the project to the server. When I open the project again, all the task
font colors have defaulted back to automatic. What do I need to do so the
task colors remain as I set them?

You cannot modify an Enterprise view, it will always open up the same way.
You must modify a different view like the Gantt Chart view, versus the
Enterprise Gantt Chart. If you cannot modify the Gantt Chart view it has
become a part of the Enterprise global and you should remove it so that it
can be modified and the changes saved.

Thanks for the response.

All though what you say is true, it won't work for my situation. I don't
want this color coding the same way every time for every plan. Even if I
built a special view for this one customer.

I just think that it should load an individual plan elements and save them.
Like a project level custom column. Oh well. Thanks for confirming what is
going on.

If a view is not a part of the Enterprise Global it can be edited differently
in each and every plan and saved that way. I can modify the Gantt Chart view
in five different plans five different ways and they will all maintain the
different changes I made to each when they are re-opened. Each will open to
show a different Gantt Chart view, while all of the Enterprise Gantt Chart
views will remain exactly the same.

Enterprise Gantt Chart and not just making a project view only with what I
