Task information in portfolio analyzer

Hello,

I've made some Enterprise task outline codes and defined
the lookup table. Why is it I can't get any task
information or enterprise task outline code information in
the portfolio analyzer view? I would like to know the
actual work only for certain tasks I tagged with certain
enterprise task outline codes. I have the same problem
with custom fields I defined on task level. I really would
like to consolidate this information into the portfolio
analyzer

greetings,

Kid

Only enterprise Project and Resource outline code information is available
in the Portfolio Analyzer and OLAP cube by default. To add task outline
code information requires custom development. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information!

I've read the article and I managed to get the task
outline codes in the field list, but now I get a "No
Value" for every project where I know I assigned an
outline code value for every task in the project. Am I
missing something here?

Hi Kid,

For each projet you have to republish all assigments and then rebuild the
cube.

Thanks for the reply!!

I keep having the problem. Could it be I need other
dimentons in addition to the project dimention, like a
task name dimention, to know what outline code belongs to
which task? I found this PAExtender tool which should let
you add any dimention you want in web access... but you
need a licence to use it and frankly it almost killed my
project server installation, and it didn't work too :) So
back to being an inch from the solution.
