Task Links - File Not Found

We have two projects with links to each other. When the project manager
opens his project the task external links are displayed and for all the links
tied to this one project the Differences column notes 'File Not Found.'

Any ideas why the link would break? I can click browse and locate the
project file and this changes the status to 'File Found' but it does keep the
change.
