Task Management

I have searched in vain for a white paper or a video on Microsoft that shows
the methodology for managing tasks in Outlook.

I have explored the methodology used in the Franklin Planner add in Franklin
Planner for MS Outlook and the David Allen GTD product. I have also searched
the microsoft site to no avail. I am looking for the process for using the
task list.

For example:

How do you create a priortized daily todo list.

How do you keep the important task in focus.

I use the task list to dump all items there to get them out of my head and
on to a system to be able to manage them. The problem is that the important
tasks get lost in the weeds. There does not seem to be an ability to schedule
a task for a certain day without converting it to an appointment.

The product team had to have some idea on how to manage tasks with outlook.

This follows the 80/20 rule. 80 percent of the projects require 20% of the
functionality of MS Project.

I was hoping to use Outlook to manage life's projects.

A link or pointer plz

Thanks,

Steve
