Task name field won't resize

I'm defining a new (copied) view for open projects in PWA and can select and
resize all fields except for the Task Name field. It appears to ignore any
value (Field Width, or Auto fit) set. All other selected fields (ID, Start,
Stop and Duration) can be changed without any problems.

Also, is there a way to preview the final settings? It appears that the
pixel specification is a hit and miss location. By going through the cycle
enough times I'm starting to get a better feel for the location of the pixel
changes. I just think (hope) there is a better way.
