Task names disappear when saving

Hi,

I am currently working on a project which uses over 250 project plans. We
use these plans to track time for all resources working on the project. Time
is entered into various individual plans. To check all time has been entered
correctly all plans are opened within 1 window, project 1. All time had been
checked and minimised to resource level when this was expanded all task names
had disappeared. We didnt save project 1 but saved all other plans within the
window. When the individual plans were opened all task names had been
removed. We are now entering time again from restored plans but a reason as
to why this had happened would be very useful to prevent this from happening
again. Could this be due to the size of project 1? What are the limitations
in opeing 250 project plans at once witihin 1 window?

What version of project and what service pack level? Are these the same for
all users?

For this number of projects you may well need to be looking at something
like Project Server, but let's try and solve your current problem first!

Thanks Rod. 4 people within the Account Management Office (my team) have sole
ownership of these plans. 3 users have MSP 2003 11.2.2005.1801.15 SP2, 1 user
is MSP 2003 11.2.2004.1707.15 SP1.

Is this all you require?
