task names not indenting

I have a couple of PCs, one running 2007 the other running 2003 (SP2)
Standard. Both of my machines have the same problem in MS Project. I can
not seem to get the task names to indent regardless of the file I have open.
I've checked Tools > Options > View > Indent name= enabled. There is no
problem displaying the outline symbol oroutline number.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Is the schedule sorted? Try Project, Sort and sort by ID before trying
again.

No such luck. I wish it were that easy. The problems exits on complete new
files.

The weirdess thing... I discovered the problem... it was the InFocus DLP
projector we were using! When the laptops were plugged into that thing, it
would screw up our indents, irregardless of the software version... never
seen that before.

I was teaching Excel controls in a class. When I prepared for the class,
everything was fine. When my laptop was connected to an InFocus projector,
none of the controls in my sample spreadsheets would display on the screen.
(It was very embarassing!). So I stopped teaching Excel controls.
