Task Number Field Values Disappear on Publishing?

I would like to make use of several task fields (Text, Flag, Number), but on
publishing (MS Project Server 2007) the Number values are reset to zeros;
values in Text and Flag fields are preserved.

I would appreciate any solution or insights with this issue.

Text, Flags, and Number fields are set in a MS Project;

All but the Number fields have the same values after publishing to 2007
Project Server - via Project Server view; all Number fields are reset to 0.

Hmmm, have to think about that. How are the number fields configured?
Are they just straight number entry, tied to a lookup table, or tied to a
formula?

You have no macros running in the file?
If you press F9 with the file open, does it reset the numbers?

No macros are running. F9 does not reset the numbers.

numbers are set manually to identify task sub collections.

And no line of business integration or links to external files (Edit > Links)...?

No saving from 2003 to 2007 formats or back and forth?

Then I would have to say that I am stumped. Can't think of anything else
to try. You might want to repost this and see if you have any more suggestions.
