Task Pad View is incorrectly viewing tasks

Using Outlook 2003. The task pad in the calendar view is displaying tasks
that have a start date in the future. They shouldn't appear on the task pad
in the calendar view until the start date, right??????

Any help will be and is always greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing a similar problem.
Even though I have selected the taskpad view "today's tasks" I am getting
future tasks (due months away) as well. These future tasks seem to be the
recurring tasks. I get the same problem in the "tasks for hte next seven
days" and the "active tasks for the selected days" views.

Is there a way to stop the recurring tasks appearing on this list until they
are due?
