Task Pane - different on twp PCs

I have Office 2003 installed on desktop and a laptop. On desktop, task pane
has Microsoft's icon and the text "Microsoft/Office 2003" on two lines. On
the laptop it has just the text in one line (no icon). Trivial I know. But
why should they be different? I want to do screen captures for a manual and
would like uniform behaviour

Which task pane specifically are you seeing this on?

The most likely explanation is that the width of the pane is wider on your
laptop.

It is the Getting Started task pane in Excel and in Word. (The text is
Microsoft Office Online)
The problem is not simply line wrap - on the desktop there is an icon (not
on laptop) and 'Microsoft' is in smaller print.
Would screen captures help?

Sure, but please send them to my email.
