Task Pane

I have the "Task Pane" check box set to "Show on startup" yet it doesn't,
how do I fix it? Is there a tweak in the registry I can do to fix it?

Thanks! I do have Word 2002, but the suggested "Hotfix" didn't work, (got a
"Patch Cannot fix due to ..." error pop-up) but it did show where in the
registry to look. I went there and noticed I didn't have the Value
"ShowWorkPaneAtStartup" so I added a DWORD Value and named it
ShowWorkPaneAtStartup and gave it a value of "1" and it works now... Thanks
