Task Pane

[DDD]

Does any one knows how to close the Task Pane and keep it close until we want to open it.
everytime World opens, the task Pane opens along.

There is a check mark at the bottom that says "Show at startup". Uncheck
it, close Word, re-open Word. FIXED! There is also a check mark in
"Tools", "Options", under the "View" TAB (top left item) that you can
uncheck.

But even when I unchecked the second one, task pane STILL automatically appears!
It is driving me crazy!
