Task reminders don't remind

A coworker wants to use task reminders, but the reminders never execute. We
are both using Outlook 2000 in teh Windows 2000 envirenment connecting to
Exchange Server 2000. We have checked his Outlook settings against mine in
tools>options>Other>Reminder and Advanced buttons. We can find no differences
between his settings and mine. Reminders function as expected on my station,
but not on his. additionally we both have the same model workstations with
same options installed.

Any suggestions as to what/where else we might look for the cause of this
failure of the reminder function.

He can try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders switch and see if
that helps.
