Task showing 99% work complete??

In timesheet view, resources enter their actual work and then adjust
the remaining work to 0hrs. They then Save Changes and do an Update
All. If they log back into their timesheets, the task shows up as 99%
work complete even though remaining work is 0hrs.

Any ideas why would that be happening? Also, any remedies to fix that?

I should point out that our tasks have duration and therefore, work
entered correct to 2 decimals places, e.g. 1.25 hrs for a task.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you will discover a decimal place issue between Pro and Project
Server. If you open the plan in Pro and zero remaming work even though it
appears as zero will make the task 100% complete.
