task start and end date - resource availability

Hi,

Can someone help me produce a formula whereby a task start date and end date
availability can fit a resource if he's available for that timeframe 100%?

basically, im looking for a code like this:

if task - start date and task - end date are available to resource
assign resource to task;
else
remove resource choice from task

I don't believe a simple formula can work within Project. Youi might get an
