Hey guess what - I tell people not to use recurring Tasks - they just
don't quite work the way we would like.
Sorry - can't help you - I have given up on them completely in current
versions.

Everyone - turn on your Advanced Toolbars and learn how to use the Field
Chooser and Group by Box!!
Hi Judy,
I am deperately trying to find out why the list of recurring tasks I've
assigned are not updating eventhough the assignee / owner has completed
the
task. I have opened up the task update as suggested but no change in
status.
It only seems to be a problem with recurring assigned task.
Thanks
Jennifer
:
If you use a single Task and assign to 12 people you cannot keep an
updated
copy on your TaskPad. I gather this is because there is only a single
%
complete field. If you need to micromanage this work, you'll need to
make
and assign 12 separate Tasks.
Are you opening each Task Update that you receive? Outlook sucks the
data
out of these updates when you open them, not if you just vie it in your
preview pane and delete it.

I have sent a weekly recurring task with a flag to 12 people. When
each
person sends me a status update of "complete," should the status in
my
Outlook update automatically as "complete" and the next task date
appear?
I
tried to update each task manually, but the item remained rain with
the
current due date and a new due date did not pop up. Please advise.
Thank
you.
